The next few posts will be a quick glance at my summer and events thereafter. Stay tuned for a REAL update on my current dramatic and ever changing life...
First up...the family festival at cedar hills. It was a successful cluster of events with many MANY crazy situations. I may or may not go into detail. I have tried to block most of it out of my mind.

The Orem Owlz Baseball Game...easiest event ever:
Here I am with the mayor (we're actually related through my dad's side in a weird way...he even knows where the farm in cortez is):

The 5k&Gorilla Mile was the next event. This was a whirlwind that stopped after 3 hours. It was a crazy & quick event (literally). It was great weather and really beautiful though.

Then we had the youth dance (no good pics) at the driving range (BAD IDEA). If I'm a kid and I want to make out with my date in the dark where do I go? THE DRIVING RANGE. LOL...yeah, AND the sprinklers turned on ON THE RANGE at the very end of the dance. The guy I had been working with of course was like, "how did that happen?" Whatever, we had to run a mad dash (literally) to get the DJ's equipment off the range so it wouldn't be ruined. Seriously, one of the MOST stressful 15 minutes of my entire life...SERIOUSLY.

Now we have battle of the bands here. This was an easy event as well. Although, the bands were LAME, there was very poppy band that all the teeny-bopper girls loved.

Here are the carts prepping for the golf tournament. This was luckily delegated to a co-worker of mine. Therefore, it was a success with no stress!

Then we had dinner & a movie at the park. No pics here either, but it was the worst food experience of my life. The grill that cooks 50 at once, broke! So, we had to bust out the spares that LUCKILY I brought. Then we were behind and people complained...SCORE.
The movie was the BEST, but I wished I got to actually enjoy it. It was E.T. in the freakin park in the dark on a HUGE inflatable screen! How sweet is that? I cleaned...SCORE again.

Saturday was the parade first, which I delegated to Luke as I had to set up for the carnival. It was a success and the carnival was as well. We were "saved" by the missionaries doing the children's games. Oh did I mention we hit record highs in Utah that weekend for immence HEAT?

The carnival consisted of inflatable rides, games, rock walls, vendors, a water cannon, a petting zoo, local entertainment, and so much more!

The BEST was setting up concessions for fireworks and chilling! It was basically over and at least I got to enjoy the fireworks. It was seriously, the most draining two weeks of my life. I worked 65 hours BOTH weeks and got a FAT paycheck. I got essentially no sleep, no gym time, no healthy food. My body should have died. It was a minor miracle I even survived. So will I do this next year? BRING IT.

So basically 2 weeks after it was over, I got hired as Community Services Director for the City of Cedar Hills.
Job Description: Organize leagues for flag football, jr. jazz basketball, ski bus, contests, races, t-ball, trips, etc.
