I love Thursdays!

Thursdays are great! WHY? Because they are the segue to Friday which is officially the weekend, no matter what time of the day it is...unless it's 7am and you remember that you still have to get to work early.

Why else do I love Thursdays? Three words: The office, Grey's anatomy, the OC. Pretty much the OC is more of a nostoligic viewing, but the office and Grey's are what give me the extra drama and humor that I don't have in my real life. I mean when I am I ever going to have to deal with a psycho office atmosphere or a co-worker who just inherited 8 million dollars? I am not. Therefore, I must live vicariously through these characters. Good enough for me!

In memory of my favorite shows this night:


Michael: Your Mexicaness is what defines you, to me, and I think we should celebrate Oscar’s Mexicanity. So Phyllis, I want you to go find firecrackers and a Chihuahua. Pam, in the frozen food section Swanson’s makes a delightful chimichanga.

Oscar: Why don’t you have me riding in on a donkey?

Michael: Ah, a burro. Of course, if Oscar wants a donkey let’s get him one.

Jim: I miss Dwight. Congratulations Universe, you win.

Dwight: [at job interview] For your convenience I’ve broken it down into three parts: professional resume, athletic and special skills resume and Dwight Schrute trivia.

Dwight: One of my life goals was to die right here in this desk chair. And today that dream was shattered.



MEREDITH: "You're the messy one."CRISTINA: "No, no, my apartment's messy, my locker's messy, but I am not messy. Sometimes you have like food and stuff in your hair."IZZIE: "Food. Band-aids on your face. I still can see that indentation from the nose strip you were wearing last night."

MEREDITH: [to Christina] "You're in a relationship without words." [to Izzie] "And you're a millionaire in twenty dollar shoes. Whatever!"

MEREDITH: "I'm a girl with abandonment issues. You have to sleep with me from now on."

MEREDITH: [narrating] "At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, it's usually a load of bull. So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we've chosen those people, we tend to stick close by. No matter how much we hurt them. The people that are still with you at the end of the day, those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need."
