Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in one!

This Christmas was somewhat uneventful. I mean what Christmas does drama NOT go down, but for the most part it was low key which is always good. Christmas eve was a nice spiritual day at church remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas followed by a catered dinner (gotta love Lupe's cookin) and a nap was attempted, but alas it just wasn't meant to be. With Kiki calling from England, people moving furniture throughout the house (leave it to Lupe to want to redo Anthony's bedroom on Christmas eve), and having a headache (probably from missing mcLyle), I just couldn't fall asleep. Finally we opened presents (yes all of them) because it just wouldn't "fit" in our schedule on Christmas day. Christmas was good to me. Mom and Dad got me a nice watch, a coctail ring, and a "funny" shirt. Yes, Dad picked out the shirt and they thought they were SO funny getting me the "perfect" shirt. Kiers & Taylor got me the Devil wears prada DVD and marathon training book (THANK YOU KIKS), and Anthony got me a blowdryer which was MUCH needed (it's one of those things that you just CAN'T stand to buy for yourself)! Elisa got me a funny sarcasm sign and I got a stocking with candy and trinkets. Christmas day we watched ROCKY which was actually a pretty good film. Lyle makes fun of me for saying I am an easy critic, but for not being a HUGE fan of the rest of the Rocky's, I thought it was decent. I give it a C+. The rest of Christmas was filled with watching movies (can you say Meet me in St. Louis or It's a wonderful life?) and starting a puzzle which I STILL have not finished (sorry mom for leaving it on the coffee table STILL). Then, like the rest of the world, I went back to work the day after Christmas (oh wait, the rest of the world DID NOT go back to work the day after Christmas). Ooh well, at least I didn't waste my vacation days. So off to work I went and FINALLY got to see Lyle again.

For New Year's Lyle and I drove down to California to stay with my sister and family. Orange County was warm and sunny. I loved every lazy second! Sadly, we made the trek back up to cold snowy Utah and got back to the real world.

Work was pretty crazy the first week back with Jr. jazz Basketball starting up and the Ski Bus starting. It is crazy how the weeks fly by and how the programs start and finish in a flash. The ski bus was rad and we have only 2 weeks left! I am pretty excited for January to be over so that work can slow down again, the grass is always greener right?

Well I think resolutions are lame because they are of no importance by February 1st. I do have one major resolution, however, that I am confident we can all acheive. I say 2007 is about Fruits and Vegetables! LOL...so get your five a day! I can't help the nutritionist in me...my bad.

Oh, and for those of you who don't read the ya-ya blog, I am going to meet the Schofields in Sacramento in February and am also going on a Disney Cruise with them to the Bahamas at the end of March...YIKES! I am pretty stoked, but kind of nervous as well. If you find any hot one piece swimsuits let me know and wish me luck!

That's all...
