The Ski Bus...it's my job

Yes, the boys are having FUN right here...what is the deal with boys...seriously?

So as community services director for the City of Cedar Hills, I run the ski bus. Yes, my job has its perks. I get to board and get paid for it. I get to "check out" the mountain and do research on the clock. However AMAZING this sounds to some of you, it does actually entail work, early and late hours, BELOW freezing temperatures. The best part about it is when I get e-mails from the parents explaining how much the kids loved it and how they can't wait for next year. I mean, I guess you could say I do it for the kids right? Ok, but let's be honest, I do it for the free boarding too! The ski bus is over, but I'm pretty excited to get it ready again for next year.

Basically this is a hole in the mountain and the first one in North America. This is the first season the 600-foot tunnel has been open. Basically a conveyor lift transports skiers and riders from a lift to a basin. The 12-foot high, 10-foot wide tunnel provides a four-minute ride to intermediate terrain in Mineral Basin. Essentially it is the easiest way to get to the other side of the mountain without having to use the tram and I LOVED IT! Go Snowbird! WORSHIP!
Now on to the Easter Egg Hunt and the Family Festival. Whoa, major bad flashbacks from these two events, which is all the more reason to get on the ball earlier this year! So here is the lineup for this summer:

July 14 - 5k
July 16 - Baseball Game
July 19 - Golf Tournament
July 20 - Dinner & Movie
July 21 - Parade, Carnival, Fireworks
