Lyle got some recording equipment right before we moved...he is enjoying....what a rockstar.

My friend Heather taught me how to make an ice cream cake...so this one was a doozy! Lyle likes peanut butter, cookies and cream, oreo cookies, and reeses pieces...so guess what he got? All of them (and funfetti cake of course...doy).

We only bought 20 candles...so not worth it to buy the extra 6. He didn't seem to mind.
Last week we spent the weekend in Sacramento for Emily (Lyle's little sister's) baptism. Lyle was able to baptize and confirm his little sister which was very special. Oh, and we were able to help with her birthday party the day before. Hmmm...20 8-year old girls with a pool, game, sugar, and hannah montana music? What a thrill.
This parts mainly for mama decker: this is our new credenza that got donated to us. We are SO BLESSED.

Ok, so STILL no wedding pics. I really have no excuse except that I am NOT on the computer like I used to be since I'm working all day long at a physical therapist office as a PT tech. Lyle just got a job too (he starts tuesday)! He will be working for a dental lab sort of as a Customer retention schmoozer. He'll be doing really difficult things like keeping client relations with dentist customers. He'll be delivering the molds and crowns and PROBABLY fitting in a lunch/dinner meeting or a round of golf here and there (he's pretty upset about that). Anyway, we're pretty busy around these parts. The weather has turn BEAUTIFUL (mid 70's) in the past week and it has become autumn. I LOVE IT. I'll write more when I've got more to tell because really, we're just working, paying the bills, living the dream.
