10010

We live above a WINE store...much better than a liquor store! :) Technically, this isn't our window since our window faces the back (rooftop), not the street. This is great because we hear ABSOLUTELY nothing from the street!
Street View
I am posting these "before" pictures so that you (and we) can see the transition from before our apartment was renovated to "after". I will post those this weekend I guess (hopefully it will be ready in time...cross your fingers)!
"Living area"
Bathroom

Kitchen...new cabinets and appliances (booya for new york)
"Alcove"...technically it's a little larger than an alcove because there will be more space for a possible dresser (yeah right) and they will build a "removable closet". We opted to keep the doors off and to use a drape instead to separate the bedroom from the "living space".

The view right outside our gym (24 Hour Derek Jeter...lol). It's very strange, but I must get used to this: everyday (without faith thus far), I walk out of the gym doors to find myself in the way of people's camera trying to take a picture of this building...The Chrysler Building. LOL...the other day I was even walking into an actual photoshoot. Granted it was low budget and no one you models you would recognize, but it was funny that I had to dodge it. Weird, but normal now I suppose.
Here is the shot of shake shack...the first place we went to eat and boy was it delish. They have a line that averages to be 45 minutes long at any given moment. We met the Crandalls and another couple they introduced us to in the ward. We cannot wait to try more cool places like this! It's only a few blocks from our place and I lOVED the park (madison square park). It's full of park benches and grassy areas for the kids and nannies. People fill it ALL day long.
