Snow in the City!

First snow (actually sticking) was a few days before Christmas (December 19). I got caught in the snow without a hat or umbrella the first time which was a SIGHT to see. We have HUGE windows at work in the children's classroom, so we watched the snow fall while we worked. It was beautiful.
I was surprised that the snow actually stuck. Lyle and I had to go out to my work party the night after it snowed which was interesting. It was a HORRIBLE experience trying to travel to the bar where our party was at. Yes, our party was at a bar called PROHIBITION. Ha. Free diet cokes and sprites for us and finger foods - NICE. It really was the most fun party I have been to for work though. There was a talent show portion which was hilarious. We have a TON of talent at my job because (if you remember) we have actual struggling (and successful) actors, singers, and dancers. Imagine singing "always looking at the bright side of life" in unison with your entire staff while your boss is tap dancing. LOL. It was incredible. We left right after the entertainment which I'm sure is where the deep drinking began. The view from our window in the kitchen.
