After Lyle's long day, errands, and a workout he was still ready to rock on Friday night.

(also known as Gramercy Theater) is in our 'hood so we hit up Chipotle next door where Lyle chatted with the lead singer of Mae, you know the usual "what is your band doing differently this album", picked up some candy next door, and headed to the show. Three bands opened for Mae, but luckily we missed the first one, made it through the second (they were blah), and the third band Lyle fell in LOVE with.

Finally Mae came on stage and it was a great show! 
We were up front just the way we like it...surrounded by teeny boppers on a Friday night. 
At the end of the show the drummer gave me a high five and I caught a pick (from the floor) that the extra random bandmate threw. 
All in all it was a super fun night and a great ending to a grueling first year for Lyle. 
Next stop? Dallas! See you soon Halle Joy Nielson and family!
