SchoStar® Rating System

We have been rating our food enjoyment based on the Zagat system because that is what everyone in NYC uses. That system is based on a 30 point scale and you cannot achieve the perfect restaurant, therefore, cannot achieve a 30 point score. Lyle doesn't like that. He doesn't like not achieving the highest score. Therefore, one night we created the SchoStar® Rating System.

The SchoStar® Rating System is based on 5 stars and is described as follows:
1 star = BAD - will not be appreciated - please avoid
2 stars = forgettable - last resort type option, and not something you'd seek out
3 stars = pretty good - not quite recommended though (we've got some reservations) - shouldn't inspire or infuriate you
4 stars = GREAT - we recommended this and think that almost everyone can appreciate it to some extent. We will be repeating our patronage of 4 star rated locals.
5 stars = EXCELLENT and highly recommended - basically, this means that if you don't at least appreciate it to some extent we shouldn't be friends anymore (not that you have to give it 5 stars too, but that you can see how someone could)
