Lyle got together with Milad (another high school friend)...future doctor's of America:
Sunday we tried to get our family pictures taken. This took more hours than necessary to get everyone dressed and out the door, but what can we say, that is the Schofield way.

THEN, started the rootbeer taste test:
Lyle organized the "blind" test.
he was very scientific about it.
some of the root beers were sour!

Lyle was so excited (pretty out of character for him, no?)

The variety we picked up from BevMo (SCIENTIFIC list from best to worst)1. Sprecher
2. Abita (from abita springs, louisiana - yep, made with southern sugar cane!)

7. Waialua (those silly Hawaiian's don't know good sarsparilla)

First, I LOVE that you are ontop of ALL your blogging this Christmas! You've blogged more this past week than you have ALL YEAR!! Okay, okay maybe not but CLOSE and I LOVE it! Second, where is the A&W root beer?!? That is my FAV and by FAR the best! You must drink if from the restaurant though from the tap...BEST way there is! Maybe we'll have to try this with my fam...

my uncle makes homemade rootbeer every year for christmas and it is so sick. i mean it is like a liquid roll... or a glass of beer. it is sick.
THAT however looks like fun with YUMMY rootbeer!

This is kinda wierd, but I teared up when I saw Lyle in his NYU shirt. It just represented all his hard work and determination to me! What an accomplished boy! So great to have good, long time friends! Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones. HA!
