You can't pass up the opportunity to go to the Texas State Fair!

neither can I!

The red river rivalry game was that day as well. Hundreds of thousands of of burnt orange Texas shirts were in the crowds. A FEW red Oklahoma shirts may have been there too.

This girl seriously does not have a social phobia nor a fear of flying high.

So maybe I screamed and Isabel didn't. Seriously, she didn't!

Lyle couldn't keep his eyes off those games. I think the fact that the 40 year old chain smoking carnival ride guys could win the games with their eyes closed made it even more tempting. So, what did he do? He spent a few hours work worth of money to win something.

That something was not only his pride, but also whatever Isabel wanted. What did she want? The biggest, most purple carebear or "tearbear" she could see.

He was happy to oblige, and Isabel was one SERIOUSLY happy girl.

But we couldn't go home without cotton candy.

And the car ride home was pretty funny too.
