Then mcLyle had his band's first show. I don't have any pics of him playing (am I a bad girlfriend?), but let's just say it was a delight. He plays rhythm guitar, sometimes lead guitar, sings lead vocals, and of course writes all the music and lyrics. He was entertaining, had groupies there screaming for him (sadly I was not one of them as I was low key in the background), and many many friends that came and watched. I cannot wait for another show of the band (My My Machete). Just wait for him to be famous...lol...no but really if he wrote lyrics and music for a living, I can guarantee it would make him money. He is kind of a genious.
I do NOT love this photo, but I needed one of me and James since she is leaving me forever and leaving it up to ME to visit her wherever she goes since brett will never let her visit me again I'm sure (sorry brett). Ok, we will take a better one next time...and remind me to stand on the RIGHT...that is my better profile...gosh!
Sunday was a wonderful day at church, a restful afternoon, topped off by my cooking dinner. I am NOT what you would call a cook, so what do I do? I "heat up" dream dinners. We had shrimp something which I usually would love (anything shrimp), but was not satisfied. Then it was MI3. LOVE that film...intense! I hope none of you take this the wrong way, but the mcLyle has the physique of Tom Cruise (which I told him of course), but he (lyle) has better arms. Oh, and maybe tommy has a better car and jeans.
Yesterday, I definitely had a case of the Mondays, but I was avidly working throughout the day. The best part of my day was Family Home Evening up in the Canyon with some of my part-A girls! Some good laughs and good tunes later, and it was time for bed! I was exhausted after my evening of belting it out (tunes of course)!
Today (tuesday), has been a BUSY day! Meetings, then lunch to catch up on my tivo, and what do I come back to work to? BRITNEY finally being her independent woman and dumping that trash! BOO-freakin-YA is all I have to say about that! Ok, maybe I can say more...she is the southern belle who will always be my girl (Louisiana neighbors), and is finally redeeming herself! You go girl! Now get that sexy back (with Justin...ha, jk Cameron)!
So pretty much that is an update for you all. I am contemplating the future of my scholastic abilities. I am wondering WHEN IN THE H I will take my vacas across Europe and New England. I am wishing that I was not in debt because then I could actually spend money for Christmas. And I am wishing that I majored in French Language and English Lit to be completely honest. Who am I? Don't ask b/c I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE!
P.S. I totally got emotional and choked up as I watched the photo montage with audio of the NYC marathon on Sunday. I WILL run in it someday (and finish). LOL...right now I run 3 miles a day at the gym. Maybe I should up my training? HA...ok!

You are an excellent blogger C... Let me just tell you I very much enjoy reading your commentary to your life. So can you explain TIVO to me? does it cost much? I totally want it, but I think it may be alot... but I havn't looked AT ALL into it. PS. boya FOR the Tom Cruise bod... nice is all I have to say... nice. BY THE WAY, your picture SO doesn't work - try that again, and STILL no lyle pics?? c'mon C, c'mon.
So I totally didn't like that shrimp dinner either...my least favorite I think of all of them.
