2. It's the weekend...almost. I am using the last 3 hours of my workday to blog. Fridays are so lax around here. Oh wait, but everyday is lax around here! Tonight it looks like McLyle and I will be getting some dinner and maybe hitting a movie. Who knows, we get REAL crazy on Friday nights.
3. November is here and that means one thing...countdown to Christmas. Ok ok, I know everyone is like, "I hate that Christmas comes the day after Halloween," but here is why I NEED Christmas the day after Halloween. Christmas is the best time of the year. People are nicer, good food, fun parties, good movies, the BEST old tunes, shopping for other people (SO FUN), warm clothes, snow, snowboarding, vacations, new movies coming out, and so much more! Christmas lights, Christmas trees, church programs, focusing on Christ, remembering what's most important...all these are great things! Yes, we need to remember Thanksgiving, but honestly Thanksgiving is a part of Christmas. Thanksgiving, the day itself, kicks off the Christmas season. That is what it's there for. I say that the Christmas season should start the day after Halloween. I have already busted out some of the Christmas tunes. I want to make the season as long as possible, so that when it's over, I am not as depressed that it's over. Around 6pm on Christmas, I start to get sad. The Christmas season is basically officially over. Some peole throw the trees and decor out the window the very next morning. Others wait until freakin Groundhog day. The downhill slope of the Christmas season starts the 26th and ends New Year's Eve. I try not to think about the fun season being over, but that's all the more reason for me to get my fill for two months. You can judge me, or you can join in the spirit of the season...the Christmas cheer if you will. That is my testimony of Christmas. I have already begun my shopping!
