Mecredi

For all of you non-french speakers out there, Mecredi is french for Wednesday.

So what is of this wednesday? Well, I am sitting in the pro shop at the Cedar Hills Golf Course which I have become a slave to. Basically management got turned over to in house management. That means we are hiring a director of golf, but until then staff has to cover. The days have really gotten warmer and golf is oh so popular around here! Let's see...I am what they call in the "low season" right now since I only have 3 events this month! LOL...more than I ever really have, but I'm the only staff member that can afford to take time off up at the golf course. Other staff at the City are too "busy" and I will admit that it is true I guess. I have plenty to do at work, but it isn't as time sensitive. So alas, here I am on a BEAUTIFUL day stuck indoors at the Golf Course. I has to be 60 F outside! The only major downfall is that I don't have speakers on my computer, so all I get to listen to is the loudspeaker country music AND I may be stuck here until 6pm instead of the normal 5pm since it's lighter later! Oh well. That only pushes my gym time back I suppose.

Let's see...what else is interesting in my life right now? Not much. Hopefully I get to start up tennis soon and convince Lyle it is one of the best sports. He likes it better than golf so that helps!

Ok what is getting me through the week right now? Well as I am the advisor for the Youth City Council of Cedar Hills, I am stressed about our youth seminar tomorrow at the High School. Do kids even go to these things? I sure wouldn't have if I were back in high school. Nevertheless, we are putting on this free event in hopes that they do come. That stress will be over by tomorrow night. THEN I am home free with only a few hours of work on Friday and then a half day of boarding with the fam. Dad and Anthony will join me in Park City and hopefully we do some yummy bandits bbq afterwards with mama decker. Poor Lyle has to work because he has a real 9-5 job. (Who has those anyway?) Then Saturday is MY day. Hopefully it is spent washing my car, going to the gym (maybe even running outside), some tennis, grocery shopping, and of course watching my boyfriend play in his rock band...YEAH! Ha, but seriously he has a show and they are always entertaining if anything. It's like a reunion everytime where I chat with our friends and we party to the wee hours of about 11pm. It is tiring being a rocker's girlfriend! Then Sunday is guitar hero and birthday cake with the fam for mom's birthday. BUSY weekend!

Another exciting thing about today? Exactly 3 weeks from today I will be in Florida. Thank the stars above!

Wow, three more hours at the golf course with nothing to do. GRRRR.
