Trivia
There is an adage that March "comes in like a lion, but goes out like a lamb", referring to the weather that some regions experience during the month. This saying is meant to demonstrate the unpredictable weather which often occurs as the seasons change.

OK, so now to the important stuff...reasons to LOVE March:
1. March snowboarding weather it is the BEST! It is warm, but the snow is plentiful (still left over from February). You wear a light jacket and enjoy the ride!

2. St. Patrick's Day! What other country celebrates a holiday for no really good reason? Hmmm...let's see...who doesn't like to eat green food, drink green beer, have drunken parades, wear beads, wear green, get kissed all day long, and receive funny cards? HELLO!

3. SPRING IS HERE! March is when spring is born. Do you even know what this means? It means 70 degree weather! It means playing tennis outside! It means going for a run outside! It means having a picnic! It means buying new swim suits! Buying new spring clothes! It means planning your summer vacations! It means buying fresh fruit at the grocery or the farmers markets! It means sitting on porches! It means taking your dog for a walk just to enjoy the weather! It means seeing popcorn popping from the apricot trees!

4. March means that March Madness is here! Almost an entire month devoted to college basketball? YES! I am a basketball fan, not a huge one, but I love watching a good game. March madness is like watching 4 good games a day! It is madness! Try to envision this one...I get hired one year ago at the City of Cedar Hills. I come into my first week at work and what do I see? My boss has brought in a tv into his office that is on the ENTIRE work day with people sitting and watching the games with him. Downstairs where I have my desk are my co-workers with multiple computer screens just so we can keep the games on streaming from the web. THEN we have a TV on in the break room just in case someone doesn't have access. LOL...it is a joke, but it's fun. So prepare those brackets and get in the game!

5. What else is March for? March is for SPRING BREAK of course! In college we never had spring break (lame), but now that I'm an "adult", I make my own spring break! (I'm rick james bit**....lol...sorry, dave chapelle insert there). So of course March is when my Disney cruise is. I CANNOT WAIT to be in the sun and out of the office...out of utah for that matter! Yeah for spring break!

6. Last but not least March is my BIRTHDAY month! Yeah for birthdays!

Yes, march 2007 will be a great month!
