Planning Hurdle #2

Bridesmaid Dresses have been chosen! The one on the right is the one! A little white cardigan will go over and it will be worn with off white flats. I'm pretty happy with this decision, although it was NOT easy to come to it!

Flowers have been ordered. Luckily my sister, Elisa, is taking care of the nitty gritty details.

Invitations have been designed and ordered. What an ordeal THAT was to get it all finalized. Lyle is so patient with me;)

Mom's dress has been purchased.

Flights have been booked. THANK YOU JAMIE AND KIERSTEN!

We have registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Crate & Barrel. (ok, so I registered and we just have to go over it to finalize the lists)

Honeymoon, Hotels, and flights have been booked. THANK YOU MCLYLE!

Ring has been shopped for and sometime designed, but not purchased. I have a new fake from Nordy's, but it's almost EXACTLY what we want. We will most likely have to design the ring ourselves which will take at least another month.

Photographer has been booked, and we take our engagments TODAY! Of course I am breaking out and feeling bloaty...SCORE!

The dress has been purchased and it is beautiful. My alteration appointment was yesterday, but of course she canceled due to a family emergency, had to fly out of the COUNTRY (probably mexico), and won't be back until may 10. Before the tears came, I called my mom and she called her back to book an appointment for May 12 (a saturday-lame), and she promised my dress would be ready in a week.

Now we just wait for announcements to be printed, photos to be taken and printed, dress to be finished, and pretty much that's it.

I feel so good about everything and cannot wait for these freakin two months to be over and done with. I move out of my apartment and back to the Decker house this weekend and Lyle starts his spring term (post-graduate classes) next week. Our schedules will change, but hopefully time will fly by!
