U of L

Ok, so if you're a local, you do NOT call it University of Louisville. You call it U of L. You also don't say, "GO CARDINALS!" You say, "GO CARDS!"

This much we have learned while we have lived here. In fact, we picked it up probably the 2nd or 3rd week we moved to Louisville, Kentucky.

A few weeks ago Lyle received a surprise and last minute interview. He got an e-mail on a Thursday that he would receive an interview the following Monday to U of L's Dental School. We were surprised and ecstatic! The very next Wednesday he got an e-mail saying he's on the "Next to be contacted List". We thought this was a really good sign because they wanted to know if we were interested in being on the list, but then we found out other people who had an interview were also on that list. Oh well. We're giving it until my golden birthday (march 25) to decide where we're going. If we haven't heard from U of L by then, we're going to New York. If we have, then we'll make our decision by then.

So yet again we're in limbo for another two months! Woohoo!
