It's basketball season!

CHURCH basketball that is.

This year was the first that Lyle didn't get his intramural football season, so of course he jumped (literally) at the chance to play church basketball. These guys practice (year round) on Wednesday nights which Lyle had been participating in. The ward was split into two teams and Lyle was lucky enough to be put on the MVP team (but we'll see if that's the case when they play the other ward team on Feb 14...YES, Feb 14).

I get the assignment as the record keeper. I write all the down all the fouls, points, time outs, etc. in the score book. I guess I got this job because I was one of two wives on the team without kids? LOL...

The games are fun to watch...and attitudes usually stay on the court (phew)!

Kent is on the ward team as well. They are SOO competitive that it cracks me up. Most of the guys getting upset and made and cussing are like 40-50 year old guys. It's HILARIOUS to go to their games!

You know I think you're going to follow in Dad's footsteps and coach your future kids into championships. Good luck with basketball and be careful with that ankle!
