Ice storm?
So I got off work for the rest of the day around 1pm last Thursday. The reason: an ice storm. The governor (no joke) got on the TV and asked all private business owners to let their employees go home early to prevent accidents. Okay, first of all I am NOT going to complain about getting off early, but PLEASE, the roads were NOT bad. The worst thing about it was the parking lot. I had NEVER been in an ice storm and it was pretty cool to see...beautiful in fact.

Okay, not that an ice storm isn't scary and dangerous because I'm sure it is but I remember living in Louisville and if ANY amount of snow hit the ground the WHOLE TOWN would SHUT DOWN!!! I of course loved it because it meant NO SCHOOL but looking back it was kinda funny because it really was like NOTHING compared to places like Utah and Rexburg! They never cancel ANYTHING because of snow or ice like EVER unless it's like ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! But hey, I guess it was nice getting off work early!
