from New York City? get a rope!

LOL...hopefully you have a good enough memory to remember that classic salsa commercial. We say it every time we eat salsa...usually on Sundays for our ritual of quesadilla lunch after Church (and no, it never gets old).

Well this week two MAJOR decisions were made.

1# I decided I was going to try my skills at the crock pot again for Sunday dinner. The product: shredded beef sandwiches thanks to the Davies Family Cookbook (it was delish). So here, I had to take a pic of the perfect crock pot meal. It only took my 2nd try and I put it all together in just 15 minutes before we left for church!

2# Lyle booked our tickets to New York City for the last weekend in March (happy birthday to me)! It technically was more convenient than anything to be around my birthday, but our purpose is to apartment hunt. That's right...as of now and most likely it will not change, we are headed to the big city to get us some more edumacation. Let me just say it will be a heck of a lot harder to live AFTER we're done in New York versus living in Louisville for Dental School, but an edumacation is an edumcation. We are getting excited with each passing day and we'll probably be out there by May 31. We will be living in BARELY a 500 sq ft studio apartment so no promises you can crash our pad since we may not even HAVE a space for an air mattress much less our couch. We do welcome all visitors though!
