The storm I am referring to can only be compared to "El Nino" of 1997 (year?). Spanish for "the Nino"-- the storm was forecast 48 hours before it hit. I really didn't believe it would happen, and although it did delay a few hours, it started bright and early Friday morning and literally did not stop until noon on Saturday. It didn't stick to the streets until Friday evening so driving was fine. It was crazy to see the end result. We got 12+ inches of snow. Luckily the sun came out right after the storm ended yesterday and melted the roads yesterday and finished them today.
I put this map up so that I could prove to Lyle that we got more than 4 inches that he thought we got...seriously Lyle?

I call it the perfect storm because it snowed us in (literally) until 12:30pm on Saturday.
- We spent Friday night watching Back to the Future (classic on our DVR). Saturday even the GYM was closed so we literally hung out in our pj's all morning until I had my hair appointment at 1pm. That's when we made the trek out to good ole Toya to see if we could get her out. It took about 10 minutes AFTER Lyle scraped everything off my car for me to pull out into the parking lot. There was just too much snow for Toya. I did finally get out thanks to Lyle. His sweats were SOAKED after (LOL).
- The rest of the afternoon was spent at my hair appointment, while Lyle worked on editing his music on ProTools. Apparently it's a complicated program so he was watching the instructional DVD and going through the whole program trying to learn about it. GOOD FOR YOU LYLE!
I got banged! Ok, that was borderline in appropriate.

So this is a full pic (with 5 inches cut off...yikes). Please note this is POST Sunday nap. My apologies.

Lyle plugging away!

Lyle plugging away!
- Then as Lyle was STILL working on his music editing, I decided to put up the frames that I had been waiting to put real pictures in before hanging up. Since THIS isn't happening for at least 6 weeks (that's if we order them asap...lol), I went ahead and put them up. I'm not excited about how it looks, but it works for the next three months until I take them down. OH WELL.
- Saturday night we watched another movie and hit the hay a little later than planned since we spaced Daylight Savings (grrr).
This BETTER be the last of the storms though...or else...
