Did I tell you we LOVE our friends Nate (Lyle's old physics friend) & Suzy (my old roomie) Hicks? Nate moved back to his old stompin grounds here in Kentucky and brought along the wife and kid (we love Parker too). He starts med school next week and we were lucky enough to hang out with them a couple of times already and we plan on at least a few more times before we take off to New York. We will miss them dearly. Our FIRST purchase in New York WILL be an air mattress (pending it will fit on the floor in the kitchen) for visitors including Suzy and Parker to visit.
We had a few places to knock out before we left "LOO-UH-VUHL" and luckily Suzy and Nate were in need of the same place...STEAK & SHAKE. Let's just start by saying, "I LOATHE FAST FOOD". Seriously...I can't stand breakfast, lunch, or dinner at fast food places (but I do love a tasty shake every now and then for dessert) because they are so greasy and fatty and they make me sick afterward. Lyle and I tend to eat out at ONLY select fast food joints around town: steak & shake being one of the few. Their burgers don't compare to In&Out, but it's the best we can get out here. The side dishes are excellent, the service is quick and enjoyable (NOT common in KY), and the shakes ARE SO WORTH IT.
As we entered, we decided to commemorate this occasion with footage,
but needless to say the boys were not excited about that part.
We did wonder, however, why the restaurant
only scored a "B" grade...I would rather NOT know. Ignorance is bliss in this case.
Next Schofield/Hicks party? Bday time...see you with rock band in hand my friends!

yeah...i don't think I've EVER been in a place that's had a "B" rating. And THAT'S why we don't go to Steak N Shake!! Gee-ross!
We had Steak N Shake in Mi. Totally worth the shakes!!! That is a little scary about the B :)
