SKULLfield

Rock band took over our entire weekend. SKULLfield was the name we were given by our good friends the Finders. Their kids are AMAZINGLY smart and cool. We love them all. Our weekend started with rock band at their house Friday night,

followed by rock band at our FAVORITES from out of town the Hicks on Saturday night (luckily they LIVE here now...BOOYA),

followed by rock band with our friends, the BAKERS on Sunday afternoon. Can it GET any better than this? Well...since you asked, YES! When my co-worker came back I cordially returned rock band and he said for us to keep it until we move to NY. Hence...my Lyle will be having band practice all weekend long.

We plan on heading to NYC between Aug 4 and Aug 15. That's kind of a big window, but after we thought we had made some progress on an apartment in Manhattan, it was taken from under us. So back to the drawing boards. From that Lyle reminded me, "there are no friends in New York"--meaning "survival of the fittest". So next week we will be more aggressive after we get some stuff on our end ready to go.
