Bruised legs and worn feet

Reader beware, the following images may be graphic and very embarrassing...

Basically my body has taken a very serious toll since coming to the city. Paper cut hands, sore backs, muscle aches, HEAD ACHES, and a few minor bruises from packing and emptying the apartment were what I brought to the City.

After being here over a month (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT) I have realized that was only the beginning to my body dysfunction for the next four years. While shifting furniture in the apartment (which wouldn't have happened if I had listened more to the Lyle and given less direction to others...whoops), I received a MONSTROUS bruise to my left lateral knee. It was the size of a softball and it didn't go away for a good 10 days. Basically one of my end tables fell on my knee while we were storing it in a very unstable position.

All the other bruises, scrapes, and deep tissue scaring (I am positively certain I had internal bleeding) were from this tiny apartment, moving furniture from here to there, and getting rid of all the random excess of boxes, trash, and furniture that just wouldn't fit. Unfortunately, I STILL get bruises almost on a daily basis from running into things in the apartment and I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon.

My feet have also taken a serious toll since our arrival. I finally cleaned them up a bit, pumice stone and all, and now I am lotioning each night before bed to make sure they become "woman" feet instead of the disgusting animal feet they were before. I have a feet issue and I'm not afraid to say it. I like clean, pedicured, smooth feet, and I see NOTHING wrong with that. I don't need professional pedicures anymore (this was a hurdle I jumped not long ago), but I keep them well groomed and painted with my own unsteady hands. I think I will even have time to paint them this weekend during some football games!

I'm not sure you're ready to see this, but alas, here is the evidence. If my camera had a better focus and color perception you could see the fresh bumps and the different discoloration of bruises, but this will have to do for now.

OK, I admit, I saw the pictures before reading and I THOUGH you were going to say you got in some fight with something during a run...or fell down (was probably what I thought you'd day) But moving and bumping into things is just as good.
