4 days 'til Christmas

Mr. Krueger's Christmas was a movie the Deckers used to watch each Christmas Eve. We've sort of gotten out of the habit, but Jimmy Stewart is a classic in it, and I hope to someday keep this tradition alive. It truly shows Christlike attributes.Narrator: "I love you." That's what Christmas is all about... Clarissa said it to Mr. Krueger; Mr. Krueger said it to Jesus; and Jesus in so many ways said it to all of us.
[George the cat meows]
Mr. Krueger: Yeah, I guess you're right George, we better trim that tree. If we don't hurry, we'll be too late!
Clarissa's Mother: Did Clarissa leave her mittens here ?
Mr. Krueger: Oh, yes, yes they're right here.
Clarissa: You hung them on the christmas tree ?
Mr. Krueger: Well, you remind me of everything good about Christmas so I just couldn't think of a better place. Here... there you are.

Especially in the City, I have tried to be a little more kind to those around me. Whether it's a smile to those on the street, a "happy holidays" to a clerk in the store, or doing a kind deed whether someone needs it or not, I have tried to act a little more Christlike to those around me. I hope six months from now, I still am in this frame of mind. It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of your own life.

Oh, that is a good tradition. I love Christmas traditions and yes, call me this break. I know you be with family, but if you have some downtime give me a call. I don't have any big plans, so I won't be too busy.

oldie but goodie
