Not one, but TWO Deckers came for a visit to the big apple this weekend. Mom and Dad surprised us with a last minute visit across the country and they brought some warm weather with them as well. It was much appreciated.
I was able to help them get a real taste at Chelsea market where we had the food tour.
They also treated us to a few other meals and tickets to the Lion King on Broadway.
This was definitely the highlight of their trip. We have been lucky enough to see a couple "shows" since we've been in New York, but I don't think we will ever experience a Broadway Performance to that degree again. Not only was it an overall beautiful performance, but the costumes and audience interaction was astounding. As the "2nd hottest ticket in New York City", it became first place on our list. Thanks mom and dad for an AMAZING experience. We'll never forget it.
Our next "must see" is In the Heights. We've got a long list of shows to see and only about 3 years to see them so we're going to get crackin!

wow!That is a great surprise! I have never seen that show, but i have heard it is amazing! One i love is Thoroughly Modern Milly. You guys are so lucky to have such an amazing adventure there for a few years!
Was the food tour any different this time? Did you get the same guide? Thats awesome that you got to see Lion King! Looks like you guys had fun.
