Smiling

We have this thing with arcades. Lyle loves them and I had not been exposed to too many growing up, but we love us some good ole competition so we seem to find ourselves in arcades on occasion. In fact, after we were engaged (like literally after Lyle proposed to me on the cruise ship) we went to an arcade to play. They were open all night or something? Anyway, we decided to enjoy a day of games our first free day in Sacramento. We figured, let's do something that is difficult or expensive to do in New York, so an arcade and miniature golf was our first thought!

We drove here (yes it looks exactly like a castle)...
where we were MOST DEFINITELY the first and only people there for a solid hour (kids in California are already in school). We played new gamesClassic gamesand of course our favorite game (can you believe he actually BEAT me...it was close).
Next stop was In-N-Out where we died and went to heaven for lunch.
We followed lunch with Miniature Golf where Lyle beat me handedly (under par if I remember correctly). Then after a quick swim at home we went out for some Harry Potter! We never got into it as each came out so we have been using netflix to watch each movie and saw the final movie in theaters with the family.

Lyle also enjoyed tossing the football with his super cool hip brother, Peter.
And we have BOTH thoroughly enjoyed playing with little Luke who is not so little anymore!Goal achieved: we were able to do SO many things that we couldn't do in New York. Next stop? Santa Cruz!
