That's right, extreme.
Extreme as in, after we took a four hour nap after our flight, I barely made it to 8:30 before I went down for the night (skipped new year's) and woke up at noon. Yes, noon! Can you believe it? I can, but Lyle couldn't. He came to bed at 1am (since it was a mere 10pm California time), and he himself even slept until noon! Then we were off to the gym and back to our normal routine. I'm not going to lie. After a late dinner and a movie, we'll be ready for bed again by 11pm.
My suspicion of the jet-lag source?
California withdrawal.
Here is what we finished up our holiday break doing...

Here is what we finished up our holiday break doing...
Annual Schofield Talent Show (please note the word "talent" is relative and not at all based upon webster's definition):
Luke Duke showing off his baby sign skills. He was hamming it up (which is not his usual M.O.)
He crossed two songs.
Imagine the "mad world" piano music to the words of (black sabbath's) "war pigs".
Like I said...genius. (and no, it's not read from christmas sheet music, it's recalled from hearing the song). He calls it "mad war".
Diana & Mac with their singing skills (and luke succumbing to Lyle's tickles)
(actually it was his talent of making a copy of the longest airtime paper airplane)
crossing of the eyes?
