disasters with little reward

What can I say? February was kind of a disaster. Between cutting my hand open one day while washing the knives (don't worry Lyle saved the day and stitches weren't necessary), and needing an exterminator to come over to fix a certain situation (therefore turning our apartment upside down), it wasn't a great month. In fact, I'd rather forget most winters in general.

Our new airproof mattress cover (Lyle testing it).

Serious comfort food was a must! What is that you ask? California mexican. We found it in a hole in the wall store a few blocks from our place on the lower east side. "Blink and you'll miss it" is true in this case of Zaragoza. We were happy, it wasn't too too pricey, and it was close(r). Lyle is bound to bring all his friends there. Scho Stars: 4****

Growing up I would ask for tostadas each year for my birthday. My mom actually would make them just like my Grandmother. When I tasted my tostada, the memories came flooding back. It was perfect.
