To sum up my very last week of my semester:
Tears, sweat, 12 hour days, little sleep, congestion, headaches, stiff neck, feeling unprepared, little food, anxiety, and much more.
I already had a cure for this→a plane ride to Dallas on Saturday morning. The only thing holding me back was that Lyle stayed behind (but someone had to save us some money AND put together our brand new couch, chair, ottoman, and rug…yeah!).
Once in Texas, I relaxed and enjoyed my sister and nieces (they worked wonders). Ready for my picture post?!
I love meeting up with Jeni and her kids when I visit. Another old college roommate from the good ole days!
Isabel was converted to the iphone. She saw mine, was clicking away within five minutes. Mom pulled out her itouch, and downloaded a learning game for Isabel. We kept hearing Isabel request, "monkey monkey!" (the animal in the game). I guess we know what her next tech present will be!
Uncle Anthony has transformed into a "young man" and was smitten by Halle. It was fun to watch him play with her.
Blake Jett is my BFFE's little boy. I got to hang out with him and bought him that lollipop (ok, so I'm an auntie that bribes - this is nothing new). It was so fun to see him walking around like a little man.
Isabel picked wildflowers on a walk we took around the block. Her bouquet included three dandelions. I love this girl.
Mom and Isabel playing tea was hilarious. "Mimi" got into it, clinking glasses, sharing the cakes, etc. Isabel soaked up every minute.
I wished I could have had an actual photo session with this rascal. I can't even believe I caught one photo of her standing still and straight. She's got the wiggle gene that's for sure.
Halle has on her lady bug hat saying, "it's party time!" (Lady Bug party is next!)

I'm so excited that my tea set present made it into pictures!!! Still not sure about the ladybug dress I picked out, but at least one item was a keeper :)
