My other half...and then some.

Granite Bay, California is to be my destination this weekend. Destination vacation you ask? Technically it is so, but I don't know exactly what's on the agenda. Lyle's younger brother is having his eagle court of honor which is the main reason for the visit. The family meeting me is also a minor detail. I was pretty stressed out about it last night mostly because I had time to think about I think. I have never been put in this situation before and the unknown is always scary to me. Lyle isn't all that forthcoming with information, but mainly tries to emphasize that he doesn't care what his family thinks of me because he knows what he thinks of me. He also assured me that his parents are chill and would like me. Whatever. Who knows...I am confident in myself and with Lyle and me as a couple. It's just a new experience altogether in a place I've never been, but will have ties to for the rest of my life. I mean this is the place where mcLyle will open his practice. This is the place where our (alleged) children will grow up. This is the place I could spend the rest of my life (maybe). It's not a big deal to Lyle and I know I won't be stressed when I get there. Hopefully I don't vomit at our landing. Our flight leaves at 2pm so we should get there in the early evening. No worries to all. I bought a new dress and three new shirts. Hopefully they work. I mean I needed new clothes anyway so Lupe had to give since I was being her babysitter a million times. I will bring the cam, but I don't want to be all loud, take control, leader Ciara this weekend. I will hopefully get some pics, but I am staying low key (if I can help it). Wish me luck.

p.s. Lyle made me the BEST vday dinner last night. Then we played guitar hero (which he bought me for vday) and then had chocolate fondue. He is so good to me. I am so lucky. Seriously though...who are we to be all amped for playing guitar hero on vday? LOL.
