Tagged...as in the childhood game, but on the blog scene instead...ya know?

Ok Karlee...since there is a blizzard outside and I have NOTHING to do on this dull Saturday I will post this tag. I mean the GYM is even closed...COME ON!

10 years ago you were:
  • I was on the verge of turning 15. That means I was in my freshman year at good ole' Arapahoe High School in Littleton, Colorado. I was pretty much enjoying high school, life in Colorado, and taking a break from sports after a crazy swim season. That was the year I was swimming all the freshman meets, but they wanted me on Varsity too so I was ALL over the place. I was loving all the attention and seeing my hard work start to pay off. What can I say...high school wasn't too difficult for me and was always a fun time. Either that or I didn't take it too seriously?
5 things on my to-do list today:
  • Get my hair cut (appointment at 1pm)
  • Study for the GRE
  • Finish thank you cards from our wedding (I know...it's embarrassing since we've been married over 8 months now)
  • Finalize our wedding photography order so that we can receive them in about 6-8 weeks (again...embarrassing I know)
  • Update the budget
  • (I know this is #6) Get to the grocery (if it's not closed)!
5 snacks I enjoy:
  • Fresh fruit...yum...especially berries or pineapple
  • Dried fruit (right now we have dried mangos from costco)
  • Heaven (graham crackers topped with frosting)
  • Fudgesicle (it's a 90 cal delight)
  • Cheeze-its (it is my chip of choice)
What would I do if I suddenly were made a billionaire:
  • Wow...what a pointless questions. A) this would NEVER be a sudden occurance & B) a more realistic questions would be a multi millionaire instead. To answer this billion dollar questions though, I would pay off our debts, pay for 6 years of the future dental school, specialty school, and a spacious condo in New York to live in while we're there. Then I would go down to the Dominican Republic and buy our summer house there. Then I would go to Park City and buy our cabin there. Finally I would buy our house in Sacramento and the Practice that Lyle will eventually take over in California. Then I would pay for a Master's program in New York for me. Then I would take all our family for a vacation to Europe for two weeks. Then I would take all our friends on a cruise for a week. Then Lyle and I would go on my dream cruise to the Mediterranean for 12 days for our first anniversary. Then I would invest at least 50 million in varies ways. Then I would splurge on a couple lavish items for me and for Lyle (individually) and get quality items that will last for our apartment and various homes. Then we would finish up school, start our family, and would work as a dentist and health promoter while doing a lot of pro bono work in the Dominican Republic. Once our kids are older we would have all their tuitions and mission funds ready for them and once the last one leaves for college, Lyle would sell his practice and we would serve as many missions as we could before we die. All of our funds when we die will go to the church minus a little for each child and grandchild to serve a mission with. Did I get everything? That would be quite the life. Well guess what? It may sound lavish and over the top...but it's our life plan.
3 of my bad habits:
  • Interrupting other's sentences with comments or questions (my bad).
  • Not being motivated to work each day
  • Eating junk food (candy is my weakness)
Places I've lived:
  • San Diego, California
  • Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • Littleton, Colorado
  • Corona, California
  • Provo, Utah
  • Cedar Hills, Utah
  • Louisville, Kentucky
  • (soon to be) Manhattan, New York
Jobs that I've had:
  • Babysitter
  • Office Assistant for my mom's various companies she has worked at
  • Cici's Pizza ("Welcome to Cici's!)
  • Telemarketer (lasted 6 weeks)
  • BYU Independent Study
  • Nuskin (tech support...ha!)
  • City of Cedar Hills - Community Services Director
  • Louisville Physical Therapy - Physical Therapy Technician
4 things most people don't know about me:
  • It has always been my goal to run the New York Marathon (okay...for like 3 years it has been my goal)
  • I am almost ALWAYS cold (yep, cold right now in my sweats and slippers)
  • I worry I will never find a job that I LOVE and am good at
  • I pretend that I am independent and strong, but really I am weak and need constant approval and acceptance around me (ok, that one was kind of heavy...my bad)

#4 I remember when you worked at CiCi's! I never got to see you in action yelling "WELCOME TO CICI'S" at all the people walking in every TWO seconds! I really wanted to experience that when you worked there...umm maybe we can recreate what that moment COULD have been like!

Hey Ciara,
I didn't know you guys blogged too! Yeah! We just started. I was reading about when you guys went home for Diana's wedding and how Lyle loves to be in Granite Bay. I started laughing cuz I feel the exact same way. Everything there is better for some reason. Maybe we can all settle there someday and our kids can be friends. Tell Lyle I said Hi. We miss you guys!
