New York Christmas

Lyle exceeded even my own expectation for Christmas this year. I actually didn't have high expectations. I didn't even give him a list because before I could, he already told me he knew what he was getting me. He told me the funds he needed to do so which kind of crushed my hopes of what I was planning to get him (what I had been saving for months). He turned around and used it all on me. Fortunately, I had a few tricks up my sleeve, so that he had SOMETHING, but one didn't work out.

As I arrived home on Friday night, Lyle had Christmas music playing, the lights all on, he was doing the dishes, and he had wrapped the presents which were waiting for me in the middle of the floor. I could not have planned it better. He knows me so well. So after we heated up dinner, he made me open everything...because HE couldn't wait until Christmas. To my astonishment, it was what I had been wanting for over a year - a DSLR camera. And on top of it, he got an amazing deal on a professional printer to go with it, so that he almost got it for FREE! If there is a bargain, this man will find it. I am one lucky girl. Hopefully I don't bore you with the THOUSANDS of pictures I will be posting from here on out!
