White Christmas

New York has experienced a glorious Autumn. Compared to last year's two week bout of Autumn weather, this year has been a minor miracle. In fact, our winter really only began a few weeks ago. First, it was exhibited by the cold weather, then it was blown in with a winter storm that lasted about 12 hours. Lyle helped me babysit Saturday night which was when we walked through the thick of it.
The view from our aptThen Sunday, we were babies and decided to take a cab since we were in our Sunday best, but I got to use my new camera and capture the white snow before we left.
I'm glad we got to see the first real snow in the City before we left. It made the holiday more real to me. Seeing how beautiful it was at night with the lights up around the City was even more beautiful (you'll have to trust me on that one since I failed to capture it).
Here is one photo I got with lights minus the snow. It's right around the corner from where I work along 5th ave.
