Radio City Revisited

Last year we were introduced to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. I fell in love. It kicked off the Holiday season and made me feel like a kid on Christmas.

This year, we opted to try something new. We got tickets to see the Nutcracker as presented by Joffrey Ballet School of New York City. We want to see as much as we can on our small budget in the four (plus?) years we will be here.
What happened next took me by surprise more than almost anything. My boss gifted my co-worker and I tickets to see Radio City's Christmas Spectacular! It was a "keep up the good work" gift with very good seating and apparently a very VIP coctails and hors d'oeuvres party beforehand. Unfortunately we barely made it on time to see the show itself, much less get there early (oops). Anyway, it made for a wonderful surprise, and by surprise I mean SHOCK. I guess I am doing something right.

This time around, I wasn't as camera happy, but I did bust out the phone to take a picture or two. It still made my day to see the show, but my excitement and amazement in seeing it the first time will most likely never be replicated.
