The last weekend before the “last week” we needed to get some aggression out. Lyle had one final to go and I had one last week of graduation parties, prepping for camp, and classes before my vacation. I knew just what we needed. In order to do it at a reasonable price, we had to get up at 6:30 on a Saturday morning. We both hit the sack well after midnight the night before, but getting up and out of the apartment was still well worth it. We hit the driving range at Chelsea Piers.
We both hadn’t touched a single golf ball in almost two years (since Kentucky), and it was time to get back on the horse.
It turns out, the hiatus was a blessing. We both hit better than where we left off. Hopefully that isn’t a fluke. We will be back soon!
